This home was located at the corner of Tebo and Center Streets in Windsor. The house was originally built by one of the members of the Livingston Family who owned a large and successful department store in Windsor for many years. To the best of our knowledge, the home was built in the early 1900s. In the mid 1940s, the Jacob Smith Family moved to Windsor from Pennsylvania and purchased this home, along with the Windsor Theater, which they operated for many years. The home burned during a lightning storm in 1954 when none of the occupants were home. The lot was cleared and subsequently given to the First Baptist Church who currently uses it as a parking lot. Linda Feaster Hubby, a Windsor resident, is the granddaughter of Jacob and Lula Smith.
